Import from LibraryThing
Your LibraryThing catalog, with ratings and the dates you read, from its export file.
-
Open LibraryThing’s export page
Sign in at LibraryThing and go to More, then Import/Export, or open librarything.com/export.php.
-
Export as tab-delimited text
Choose Tab-Delimited Text (or CSV if offered), then Export all books. To bring in only part of your catalog, filter first (for example Read but unowned or a collection) and choose Export filtered.
-
Open Import, then Spreadsheet
In Audiostacks, choose Import, then Spreadsheet.
-
Drop the file in
Drop the file on the box. Audiostacks recognises LibraryThing’s columns: title, primary author, rating, and the dates you started and finished.
-
Check and import
Books with a read date land in Finished. Check the list and choose Import.
All done. Open Import if you haven’t yet.
Good to know
The Excel file won’t open
Use Tab-Delimited Text instead. Audiostacks reads text and CSV files, not .xls.
