Choose your alerts and emails

Turn each kind of alert on or off, in the app and by email, and pick how often email comes.

   Open Alert settings

   Open your alerts and tap Alert settings at the bottom, or use the link at the foot of any alert email.

   Pick how often email comes

   Under Email, Weekly digest (the default) sends one email a week. Daily, only when there’s news sends at most one a day. Never keeps everything in the app.

   Time-sensitive ones

   Leave Send library holds and availability right away, instead of waiting for the digest ticked to get those the same day, since a free library copy doesn’t wait a week. Untick it and they join the digest.

   Choose where alerts point you

   Under Where to point you, Audiostacks works out how you read (audiobooks, ebooks or print) and where you get books (Audible, Libby, Kindle and so on) from your own stack. Alerts, emails and Where to get it lead with those, so a Kindle reader isn’t sent Audible prices. Untick Work it out from what I read and where I get it to choose for yourself.

   Check-ins and notifications

   Under Check-ins, turn the quick in-app check-ins on or off. Under Notifications on this device, turn on phone or desktop notifications. More about notifications.

   Choose each kind

   Under What to tell you about, each kind of alert has its own App, Email and Push switch. Changes save as you tap.

7. 7

   Following and muted

   Following lists the series, authors and narrators you follow. Muted lists anything you’ve muted; tap one to unmute it.
