Import from hoopla

Everything you’ve borrowed on hoopla, in one click from your hoopla History. No export file needed.

2 min5 steps Import from hoopla
  1. Open Import, then hoopla

In Audiostacks, choose Import, then Hoopla. It works on a computer or a phone, in any browser.

  2. Add the Send to Audiostacks button

On a computer: drag Send to Audiostacks to your bookmarks bar. On a phone: tap Copy, bookmark the page, then edit the bookmark and paste what you copied as its address. The import screen walks you through it for Safari, Chrome on iPhone and Android. You only do this once, and the same button works for Audible and Kindle too.

  3. Open your hoopla History

Go to hoopladigital.com/my/history and sign in with your library card if asked. You can also get there from My hoopla, then History.

  4. Run Send to Audiostacks

On a computer, click it in your bookmarks bar. In Safari on a phone, tap Bookmarks, then Send to Audiostacks. In Chrome, type Send to in the address bar and tap the suggestion. A small panel shows progress while it reads everything you’ve borrowed.

  5. Check the list and import

Audiostacks opens with your titles. What you’ve returned goes to Finished with the date you borrowed it; what you have out now goes to In progress. Remove anything you didn’t finish, then choose Import.

Good to know

My History is empty
hoopla can hide your borrowing history. In hoopla, open Settings (the gear on My hoopla) and look for History near the bottom; set it to show. Only borrows from after it was turned on are kept.
What comes in?
Audiobooks, ebooks and comics. Movies, TV and music are left out.
Is it safe?
It runs in your own browser while you’re signed in to hoopla, the same way hoopla’s own site reads your history. Your library card and PIN never come to us, and nothing is added until you choose Import.
Keep it up to date
Run it again any time; titles already in your stack are matched, not added twice. Or forward your hoopla emails and new borrows are added for you.
