Import from Spotify
Every podcast and audiobook you’ve played on Spotify, with dates, from Spotify’s data download.
-
Open Import, then Spotify
Choose Import, then Spotify.
-
Request your data
Choose Request it from Spotify. On Spotify’s privacy page, tick Extended streaming history and Account data, then Request data, and confirm the email Spotify sends.
-
Wait for the email
Spotify emails a download link, usually within a few days. Audiostacks reminds you when you open Import.
-
Drop the file in
Download my_spotify_data.zip and drop it on the Spotify screen as is. Shows you follow and listen to, audiobooks and played episodes come in, ready to check.
All done. Import from Spotify if you haven’t yet.
Good to know
Is my music imported?
No. Only podcasts and audiobooks.
Is there a faster way?
If you see Connect Spotify, sign in for an instant import of your saved shows and audiobooks and the episodes you’ve finished. Spotify limits how many people new apps can sign in, so it isn’t available to everyone yet. The data download works for every account and includes full history.
How are episodes marked played?
When you listened to most of an episode. They’re matched to the show’s episode list the first time you open the show.
