Open a title you’ve started or finished and tap the stars. Your review saves as you type. Stars, reviews and highlights open once a book is In progress or Finished, so every rating comes from reading it.

Dates fill in when you change shelves. Edit them any time, or choose + Log another listen (or + Log another read) for a reread.

You haven’t started it yet. Tap I’ve started it or I’ve finished it under Your take, and the stars open up.
Do ratings change my picks?
Yes. Four and five stars pull similar titles up; low stars push them down.
Loved the book, not the narrator?
Audiobooks have a separate Narration rating under your stars. More about narrators.
